Translator

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service is seeking highly motivated individuals for Translator positions. These positions will appeal to individuals who have translation skills in one or more foreign languages, are able to work effectively on a team, have well developed research, analytical and report writing skills and a genuine interest in intelligence issues and political affairs.

Applicants must

• Be a Canadian citizen.
• Possess some post-secondary education.
• Have good interpersonal skills and a good ability to work alone and in a team environment.
• Be willing to undergo technical assessments for language proficiency and translation skills in one of Canada’s official languages and in the foreign language.
• Undergo a stringent security clearance process.

Salary Range

From $61,350 to $74,660 will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
