Job Summary

The psychological services team of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is seeking psychologists to fill current and upcoming openings. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Psychology Services offers diverse organizational and employee support programs. Applicants may be assigned to any one of them.

Education

Applicants must possess a Master’s or a Doctorate degree in psychology and must be a member of a Canadian College of Psychologists or of l’Ordre des psychologues du Québec.

Experience

Applicants must have experience in one or more of the following fields:

• Counselling, particularly counselling in the workplace
• Personnel selection, including the analysis and interpretation of psychometric tests, psychological interviews, and the preparation of reports
• Personality and psychopathological disorders
• Industrial-organizational psychology
• Prevention/promotion of mental health

Other Requirements

Applicants must possess training and presentation skills. Applicants will be required to travel across Canada.

Who Can Apply

Canadian citizens residing in Canada for the past ten (10) years.

Security Requirements

Candidates must have no criminal record, have not used illegal drugs in the last twelve (12) months and able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. This process involves a security interview, a polygraph, a background investigation that includes credit and financial verifications.

Salary Range

$69,720 to $84,840 per year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
